Signing up for a Southern Steppa blog is simple - fill out the form below and we’ll take care of the rest.

All fields are mandatory and whilst we will do our best to set up your new blog right away, it may take up to 48 hours for your application to be processed. Please read the rules and requirements below - there aren’t many, but we do follow them fairly closely.

1. Southern Steppa is a site run for independant artists. Overt commercial advertising and/or spamming of members or visitors to the site will not be tolerated and will result in your blog being removed and in extreme cases, your IP address banned. You are welcome to use your blog to advertise your own gigs, releases etc, but please leave unashamed promotion on other members blogs to My Space.
2. Southern Steppa is only for Australian or Australian-based artists. This point is not negotiable, however we may possibly be swayed by excellent dub artists from New Zealand.
3. Blogs are not required to be used purely for music related activities. They may be a running commentary on anything you believe is of interest to the Southern Steppa community. Obviously some material is not acceptable, particularly that which is adult related. Disregard for this rule will result in banning and/or removal from the site.
